Home from Europe.

Standard

My friend and fellow fibre fiend, Monike has been missing for the last five weeks.

She and her hubby went to UK  to meet their second grandson.

I didn’t realize how much she meant in my life.

Quick telephone call, or email. Meeting together, suppers shared. But when she wasn’t there it seemed so empty.

She has taught me so much about textiles. She is my guru.Unfortunately she came home with a cold and so did her husband.I can only imagine being ill when not in your own home. Yuk.

She is an avid gardener

and spent the last week before leaving, planting her little sets. Then she brought them over and they are in my green house.

I am looking forward to her and her hubby getting well so we can celebrate  Summer together

Glad you are home Monike.
